Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026
We want to be upfront about how Fright & Fun makes money, because trust matters more to us than clicks.
The short version
Some of the links on this website are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. It never costs you a penny extra — your price is exactly the same whether you click our link or go directly to the store.
Amazon Associates
Fright & Fun is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Other affiliate programs
In addition to Amazon, we may participate in affiliate programs with retailers such as Target, Walmart, Spirit Halloween, Etsy, and others. Wherever we recommend a product, we’ll either link directly to the retailer or use an affiliate-tracked URL. The product itself, the recommendation, and the price you pay are exactly the same either way.
How this affects what we recommend
It doesn’t. Period. We choose products based on quality, value, and reader fit — not commission rate. If two costumes are equally great and one pays 1% and the other pays 8%, we link to whichever one we’d recommend to a friend. If a product earns us nothing but is the best in its category, we still recommend it.
We never accept paid placements, sponsored “reviews,” or write content in exchange for a brand fee. The only money we make from this site comes from your trust — and we don’t take that lightly.
Spotting an affiliate link
Any “View on Amazon,” “Shop at Target,” or similar buttons on our product pages are affiliate links. Hovering over them in your browser will usually show you the retailer URL at the bottom of your screen. Links to other websites or to our own pages are not affiliate links.
